We had a small get together party at our home about 2 weeks ago. So my wife and sister-in-law made some really good delicacy for our friends and relatives to enjoy. My only contribution is to document all the good stuffs they made with my camera, and of course to enjoy them too! Yes, I'm a lucky man!
Below are the few awesome delicacy they made. We have plenty of other food too(took us a week to finish all the left over) but most of them are store/restaurant bought food so I only document the home made good stuffs.
The Siow sister made this really really awesome mini cheesecake with some strawberry and blueberry topping, DELICIOUSSSS! The store bought brownie is good too!
Chocolate fondue. We bought this thingy just for this occasion which turn out pretty good. Notice that we love chocolate? Who won't?
The little candle to warm the chocolate fondue.
Bacon wrapped scallop!!! The scallop is huge, about 2" in diameter and 1" in thickness, wrapped with juicy bacon! Next to the scallop is bacon wrapped shrimp, good stuffs too! It's fattening and unhealthy but man does it taste good!
Zoe, my sister-in-law, use some icing to reserve 2 brownie for her and my wife, Faye, just in case. Warm this brownie up and have it with a glass of cold milk or better yet have it with a scope of vanilla ice cream...Mmmm...

My cousin, Vincent, is a great photographer and a smart guy(he's an architect working for a big firm in London). Another cool note about him, he has one of the incredibly cool(& expensive) camera, the Leica M8.
I'm always a big fan of his works. I love his photo compositions style/technique, something I've been trying to learn from him. I just wish I could take great photos like him someday. For now, I'm just glad that I'm related to someone who possessed such great skills.
Below are some samples of his shot.

We visited Market Street in The Woodlands yesterday. Well, it was the promised of free food that draw us there. You see, Singapore Airline started to fly out of Houston International Airport now so they're working hard to promote their present here. Part of the campaign involved setting up a cultural event in The Woodlands and free food is used to attract cheap guy like me.
We spent half a day strolling around market street which is basically a square surrounded by many nice shops and restaurants. The breezy and cool spring temperature make it a nice outing for us. The free food is just a big plus for small trip away from the house.

Spring is here, flower blossom everywhere.
Girl getting face painting.
A very good face painter.
She's very good in painting hands too.
A really cool looking BMW bike.
The emblem on the same BMW bike.
Spot this little girl watching the dance performance, so I snap a picture of her with my cheapy telephoto at 300mm, it turns out better than I thought.

Why the name Siowramisu and not Tiramisu, well, that's because it's made by the Siow sister (sister-in-law came up with the name). Yup, my wife and her sister made an amazing Tiramisu Siowramisu last night! It's super-delicious! Yum yum!!!
This multi-layered goodness is a combination of different texture (creamy and soft) and taste (bitter and sweet). It's ichiban! I just wish I can post the taste on this blog but technology only allow me to feed you some photos.
In the making of...
A little final touch.
Voila! Dessert goodness!
Final shot before it ends up in my stomach.
