Who do you think is the happiest when my wife finally find time in her busy schedule to bake? ME!
Orange Chiffon cake fresh out of the oven...I was drooling as I was taking this photo.
Exactly how do you make a Chiffon cake look pretty in a photo? I have no idea. Honestly, it doesn't matter as long as it taste GREAT!

It's almost September, I think it's about time to post the photos I took back in July, talk about procrastinating.
For the July 4th holiday this year, we went to Destin, Florida, for a small get away vacation with family and friends. 1 minivan, 5 adults, 1 kiddo, and plenty of junk food, just right for a 10+ hours road trip.
Took me a while to find a nice sets of prints for this photo. I tried to make some prints with my giant foot but it's just not as nice.
White sand, clear blue water, nice temperature. Why? Why is the beach an hour from our house not as nice??? Why?
Crystal clear water at a busy beach? Amazing!
See that little boy in this photo? I have no idea he was posing for my camera until I got home, ha!
It's 4th of July, US Independence Day, US flag is a typical decorations around town, even on the beach.
What a cool concept for an ice cream transport!
What was I thinking to bring the camera over water? Maybe I was hoping for a new camera...hehehe...
Evening hour...
"Not as exciting as we thought." was the conclusion of Faye, Yee, and Min after they got down from para-sailing. Huh?
Hello?
500ft in the air...
On the way back to the harbor after the para-sailing excursion, we caught a glimpse of the
V22 Osprey heading back to base; there's a huge navy base nearby. A very cool VTOL(Vertical Takeoff and Landing) military transport. I have never seen one in action so it's definitely a cool sighting.
That is one bright moon!

What's a better way to offset a hectic week then to kick off the shoes, unwind and enjoy the evening breeze in the city park?
After that, a sinfully thick 4 layers chocolate cake with a cup of extremely dark coffee at a place called "The Chocolate Bar"...
