When Faye is not on the internet browsing for recipes on others blogs/food website, she's in the kitchen cooking/baking. Most of the time the outcome is something as awesome and delicious as this...
Before...
...and after. I was too eager to dive in so I didn't take a good photo of the 1 ton soup. You know how it looks, just use your imagination...

I always complaint that can I have the bigger wanton when I buy wanton from the hawker .
Oh ,this is the one that I want !But they are only in your picture, not in my plate !;漏气!

Bakeling自己包啦..包几个够你自己吃就好了嘛!
Colin..

Sonia - Yes, you're 1st today! Yup, it's 1 ton soup! Some of my American friend like to make fun of the name "1 ton soup" every time they hear it, hahaha...
Bakeling - Like Nancy said, you should make it yourself, I'm sure you can do it, very rewarding. Hahaha...that's a funny story of you buying a 烧肉面 because you're mad at the size of the wanton. Hey, I like my new name, 科林!
Nancy - Ya, dishes like this always make me miss home. The restaurants here doesn't serve wanton with 干捞面.
温馨小屋 - Ask your kids, go out to "ta bau" some for you! Hahaha...

Colin Woon on May 17, 2009 at 10:21 AM
candygan - Yes, I did pick the right one, didn't I? Hahaha...
卡珞 - Definitely great! Wife cook it so I won't miss Malaysian food so much. Now, if I could figure out how to plant durian here, that will be perfect!

Wanton in soup is my favourite. :D
Yesterday we bought the wrong wanton skin, it was meant for frying and not making soup. Doesn't taste the same too :S
